I was born and raised on the captivating island of O'ahu, Hawai'i, where the celebration of culture and diversity is ingrained. Over the course of three years, I immersed myself in teaching kindergarten and first grade, navigating the dynamics of a Title I school.
In 2018, my journey led me to Shelby Township, Michigan, where I dedicated two more years to teaching first grade. During this time, I applied developmentally appropriate practices, creating engaging learning experiences for young minds. Over the course of my five-year teaching career, I've honed my ability to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and the community, recognizing the profound impact it has on enriching the lives of children. My passion for teaching grows stronger, fueled by the belief that every child deserves the right guidance and support to evolve into independent learners. |
My husband and I are high school sweethearts and got married in 2018. My husband's role as an Army Chaplain has taken us on a journey to various places, including Texas and Maryland. Currently, we reside in Rockville, Maryland with our two boys, Noah and Jonah, aged 3 and 1. We are making new memories and embracing the opportunities this location brings to our family. Currently, I find joy and fulfillment as a stay-at-home mom, reveling in the daily adventures of parenthood. As a coffee enthusiast, I'm always in the mood for a good cup of coffee. In my leisure time, I dive into historical fiction and romcom books, finding solace and entertainment in their pages. Nature also holds a special place in my heart, and I indulge in activities like hiking and beach outings.
